One of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks is Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock. After climbing to the top, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views over the jungle and rice fields. Along the way, you’ll discover ancient frescoes and the ruins of a royal palace.
The mountain village of Ella is famous for its rolling green hills, tea plantations, and the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. Here, you can experience Sri Lanka’s most scenic train ride, hike up Little Adam’s Peak, or simply relax in the cool mountain air. And don’t worry about your luggage—I’ll pick you up again at the train’s arrival station.
Yala National Park is the place to go on safari. Here, you can spot elephants, crocodiles, buffalos, and—with a bit of luck—even a leopard. With its wide-open landscapes and rich wildlife, Yala is a highlight for travelers of all ages.
